Nobility. Kings. Knights. Castles and Coat of Arms. Illuminated Letters.
In medieval times, the nobility included Kings, Lords, Knights, and Ladies. They lived in fortified castles and hung portraits and tapestries. Monk Artists created beautiful works in hand copied bibles. Our artwork will include a noble self portrait like those painted by Hans Holbein the Younger. We will create colorful castles, weave tapestry designs, design a coat of arms and illuminated letters.

Sacramento based literature workshops were inspired by LitWits™ workshop. These 2 to 4 hour workshops immerses kids in the sensory experiences of a single pre-read book. It’s a hands-on approach to literature that includes prop-based discussion and creative activities, including drama, art, writing, crafts, projects, and games. Kids who experience literature the LitWits way learn without trying - and want to keep reading great books!

Owls, Pumpkins and fall trees Fall Session for Art Lessons October 16 - November 27 |
2012 / 2013 ART LESSON THEMES include:
INTRODUCTION TO ART
Art and Literature. American Artists.Ancient Artforms.
Classes are forming NOW in Sacramento/Elk Grove.
Tuesdays - 3 pm
Thursdays - 3 pm (916) 478 - 9592
Expose your children to the world of creativity through paint, paper, clay, mixed materials even fabrics. Interwoven into each lesson history and biography of the art of study.
Many art vendors and children's art classes emphasize only drawing or completing a craft project, my desire is to compile tested art lessons that expose students to famous artists,
art history, and the elements of art (line, space, color, etc.), while
giving them ample creative freedom to ensure their artwork is uniquely
their own. The hope is that art class will simply be a 'jumping off'
point for the students in which they will gain enough self confidence
and skill to take home with them and create after school hours.
